There is a Buddhist teaching that all beings have been one’s mother. The idea is that through our eons of existence through all the experiences of various life forms, that our mothers have birthed us, cared for us, nurtured and protected us, sometimes have died for us. Therefore, all the beings we encounter, due to the karmic linkage we have with them, have at some point been that kind caring mother.
In this meditation we contemplated Love, love for the vulnerable presence that is in all beings, through Mother Mary.
